Kestrel Station sits on a floating ice shelf at the bottom of the world: six researchers, one runway and a storm rolling in that will cut it off from everything by morning. At ten past nine tonight, glaciologist Dr. Anika Lund disappeared. Her parka was found folded at the flag line by the shelf edge.

Everyone says she walked out into the dark. You landed the last supply plane before the whiteout, and you used to do search and rescue. Now you sit in the mess with a tablet on the station network: the search log, the station's mail and files, and a messenger channel to five people who all say they want her found. Something about that parka is wrong.

How to play

• Read the station's mail, logs and photos on your tablet, and question the crew by message
• Ask the people inside the station to go and look at things for you
• Show the right evidence to the right person to make them talk
• Find Anika before the storm closes in, then use Accuse to name who is responsible and where she was
• You have 45 moves before the whiteout cuts the station off
