You're home for the summer lantern festival. Seven nights, three people who make your heart stutter, one last fireworks show.

Story

Every summer the seaside town of Saltmarrow Bay floats a thousand paper lanterns on the water for seven nights, and on the last night the sky explodes with fireworks. You have come home for the festival after years away, and the moment you step off the ferry your phone lights up.

Theo makes the fireworks. Dahlia headlines the festival stage. Sam rows the lantern boats across the bay. On the seventh night you can ask one of them to watch the finale with you. Whether they say yes depends on the six nights before.

How to play

  • It all happens in a messenger: the Lantern Crew group chat and a private chat with each of them. Some of them text you first, and each one only knows what was said in the chats they're in
  • Every conversation moves their affection. As they warm up, their profile photos and status messages change (Lv.1 to Lv.4)
  • Tap Call it a night (or say you're calling it a night) to move on to the next evening
  • On the seventh night, use an Invite button to ask someone to the fireworks
  • Three romantic endings, a bittersweet one, and a rare wish

In this story you are A local who has come home for the summer festival after years away
